Summer Days and a Japanese Hotpot

Hi Everyone! :hirabbit: Summer has finally unfold with all its power. After two weeks of rain the sun suddenly decided to start shining without any mercy. Normally we go to the pool but today it’s so hot that you can’t bear to stay more than 5 min. in the sun :ohno:. Anyway, since it’s too hot for logical reasoning I’ll just write about random stuff..

A giant, blue caterpillar about to eat the forest?

The day Sophie arrived we went for a stroll to the forest with a bottle of Umeshu (Plum wine) and fireworks. After a while we sat down on a bench to enjoy the view over the city when a very playful cat joined and entertained us for a while.

Raspberries picked in the forest mmmh..

Sophie & Silvan

Yesterday after a long day at the pool with Sophie and Silvan we decided to eat Nabe (Japanese Hotpot). Yes I know it sounds strange to eat Nabe on a hot day but it was already late and we were really starved after all that time in the water fighting with children over the top position on a red inflatable octopus :nope:. The Nabe was without meat or other fancy ingredients. Just mushrooms, tofu, green onions, bean sprouts, carrots, Daikon, fish balls and a little bit of cabbage. It was the best Nabe I’ve ever eaten since Japan!

I hope to be back soon!
